IEBC manager Chris Msando found dead

The body of Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission ICT manager Chris Msando was Monday found at City Mortuary in Nairobi, a day after he was reported missing. Police said his body was recovered in Kikuyu forest and the mortuary records indicate that it was brought in on Saturday morning, alongside that of an unidentified woman recovered at the same spot.

IEBC ICT Manager Chris Msando appears to have been tortured, Hand broken, Fingers Mutilated and neck has strangulation marks.

Police say they found the body Kikuyu on Sunday and taken to City Mortuary on Sunday.

As the ICT manager, he is obviously one of the few people with knowledge of the servers of IEBC.

This election is of high stakes, it's just a SAD day exactly 7 days to elections.

IEBC chair Wafula Chebukati and top commission officials were at the mortuary to help identify the body. His vehicle had earlier been found abandoned in Roysambu, Nairobi. Police said they were called and informed of the discovery of the Land Rover Discovery near Thika Road Mall (TRM). The car had been locked and seemed to have been there for a while. 

Msando had reported to the Central police station about death threats to him. The death comes a week to Kenya’s General Election.
